About Me

Hi, I'm Laura, and I have a passion for fitness and leading a healthy lifestyle (but I haven't always been like this)

As a child (aged 11 and 11 stone) and into early adulthood I was overweight. I grew up going through phases of not eating, dieting to extremes, and then regaining the weight again.

Exercise was never a priority, always just an after thought.

I was a very under confident person, who lacked self esteem and was embarrassed to be seen exercising in public

I hated my weight but after a lot of deliberation I decided to do something about it.

6 years ago I went to my first fitness class, which was a massive shock to my system. My muscles hurt for days afterwards, but I never looked back. I was hooked.

I started Seeing huge results with daily exercise and healthy eating (losing over 40lbs)

It was hard work, but as I started seeing my body changing, my confidence grew.

Loving what I was doing, I decided to study to become a fitness instructor, and here I am today wanting to help you to acheive your goals too.

I am a fitness enthusiast, who enjoys challenges, including completing a 66k charity run through the peak district, a sprint triathlon, and I was one of the 100 Tough mums for ITV's Good Morning Britain.

I am also an ASA level 2 swimming teacher

In September 2013 I was also diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. A condition that causes wide spread pain in the muscles, ligaments and tendons along with many other symptons including poor circulation, fatigue and severe chest pain(costochondritis)

In 2015 I was also diagnosed with Osteoarthritis.

I have lived with this for 4 years, and it is my active lifestyle and good habits that have kept these conditions under control.

I have good days and bad days but I always keep a positive mind.

The future is positive and I am going to embrace many more challenges!!

I will teach you how to discover exercise, overcome barriers, and help you take your first steps to a healthier lifestyle.

I am a personal trainer, nutritional advisor, sports and remedial massage therapist, core stability instructor, and an instructor of health related exercise for children. I am an ASA level 2 swimming teacher, first aid trained and CRB checked
